Managing price changes based on key dates, such as day of show, is now even easier. In the ticket build, there is a new option for “Add a Price Change” to any ticket type. Simply add a name, day/time, and price for the price change and Opendate will handle the rest. While this feature is designed to streamline day of show pricing for events using reserved seating, this feature can also be used with any ticket types including seating charts. And don’t worry, the new name and price used in the price change will flow through to all appropriate places in Opendate, including the buying flow, the settlement, the P&L, printed tickets, and more.
