Bottlerocket, a beloved social hall in Pittsburgh, has always been a hotspot for community-focused events and unique experiences. Known for hosting a diverse array of events, from comedy shows to themed nights like adult prom and Barbie nights, Bottlerocket has established itself as a cornerstone of local entertainment. But now, they are taking their community engagement to a whole new level with their latest and most ambitious project yet: Bottledogs.

Introducing Bottledogs: A Mobile Hot Dog Cart with a Twist

Bottlerocket has always had a knack for creativity and innovation, and their latest venture is no exception. They have launched Bottledogs, a custom-made, traveling hot dog cart that will be roaming the streets of Pittsburgh all summer long. This isn't just any hot dog cart, though; it's a mobile extension of the Bottlerocket experience, bringing the venue's flavors and fun to local street fairs, festivals, concerts, and even private events.

The journey to Bottledogs was anything but simple. The Bottlerocket team flew to the middle of the desert to purchase the cart, enduring a stressful trip to bring it back home. Since then, the cart has undergone a transformation, with team member Mel spending a month painting and refurbishing it, while another team member, Luke, perfected the hot dog recipes. After navigating through a lot of paperwork, Bottledogs is finally ready to hit the streets.

Bringing the Bottlerocket Experience Straight to Their Fans - With Physical Tickets!

Bottledogs isn't just about serving delicious hot dogs. In line with Bottlerocket's community-focused ethos, the cart will also be selling physical tickets to all of Bottlerocket’s upcoming shows, thanks to their partnership with us at Opendate! This means that wherever Bottledogs goes, community members can grab a bite to eat and secure their tickets to the next big event at Bottlerocket.

The team at Bottlerocket is incredibly excited about this new venture. As they put it in their Instagram post: "This is truly a first-of-its-kind experiment that we can’t wait to unleash upon this city. Expect to see Bottledogs outside the bar on busy nights or in YOUR neighborhood all summer long."

A Community-Driven Experiment

Bottledogs is a testament to Bottlerocket's commitment to their community. They have always been about more than just hosting events; they aim to create memorable experiences and foster a sense of belonging. With Bottledogs, they are extending that mission beyond the walls of their venue, bringing the Bottlerocket experience directly to the people of Pittsburgh.

Whether it's the excitement of seeing the cart roll into your neighborhood, the joy of biting into a perfectly crafted hot dog, or the convenience of purchasing show tickets on the go, Bottledogs is set to make a big impact. The Bottlerocket team has many exciting ideas and plans for this project, and they can’t wait to see how the community responds.

Check out the video of Bottledogs' grand unveiling and follow Bottlerocket on social media to keep up with all their latest adventures. If you're in the Pittsburgh area this summer, keep an eye out for Bottledogs at an event near you, and experience the unique blend of fun, food, and entertainment that only Bottlerocket can deliver.
